Well, all the footage has been rendered, converted, and queued to upload.
Jesus, it took some effort though.. I enjoyed doing a double shift (4+ hours rather than 2) on Friday, but damn, the rendering/splitting work has seriously drained the hell outta me today.
Rendering is a weird process.. it's not like watching paint dry, or grass grow, but it does have an anesthetic like quality, in that if you spend a long time doing it, it does make you tired. That's down to the fact yer not concentrating on doing anything, yet you have to babysit and wait for the stuff to output so you can convert it, then queue it up (including descriptions).
Basically, for the past two weeks, i've gone from 1 hour a day, to about 1.5 hours, and then to 2 hours and beyond.. factor in other stuff, such as the blog and audio blog bits on top of the increased work load, and i've slowly had my reserves depleted away.
What's the best way to finish off 2 weeks of rapidly increasing work? Why, to more than double the playtime one day (not even factoring in the time I spent getting that second MGS disc going), and more than double the rendering time the following day ;)
It sounded like a good idea at the time :P
I do enjoy a good challenge though, and the final set of MGS videos was truly that, a titan of recording and editing.. the most i'd ever done before this, was about 3+ hours of IWBTG (the unreleased set y'all ain't seen yet), and even then, I didn't process all the footage straight away.
All in good fun though.. all in good fun.
